A General Wander of Thoughts

Yay, so my site is slowly growing in its contents. I have been working on getting my various howtos added into here. I have noticed that most of the people coming here seem to be interested in irssi. So I think I will try to expand that section of my site. So other than that nothing new is going on with me, other than the fact that its my birthday today! Man I feel really old now (not as old as Chris though :P). I got three cards, my mum had already given me my present last weekend (I was up visiting to give my present to my dad). She gave me a surge protector, I'm taking it as a hint that me running three machines off one extension cable isn't safe practice. I also got a new wallet off her, which was nice (needed one since months!). *Sigh* another year older but still not gained any common sense!

I am sure that most people on IRC are aware of the death of Robert Levin (lilo), although I only ever had brief conversations, its always sad to hear of someones death. He was by far the most recognisable voice on Freenode and I'm sure his loss will be felt for some time. I don't think that freenode will be quite the same really, it will chug along but you know.

So I was fixing some of my coding for Chris again, I don't always get stuff just right. The hit counter seems to be doing it now, only counting unique hits per day. Lets hope it stays that way.

Jy was tampering with some regex last night and I sort of mangled a bit together. So next step is to fully function it and see how it goes. It is intended to grab the attributes from tags. More things on the TODO list.

I have finally managed to give something back to bmotion (even if it is really minor!). I added in a fix for the !summon trigger, so that the bot no longer attempts to summon its short nicknames. See it in all its glory, yeah I know its tiny but I love bmotion.
